Hero: Mayala

Once upon a time, a little girl was born in a village called “Village Colonist”. The little girl was born different. She had shining blue hair and sparkling blue eyes. Her mother was frightened to death because of the little girl’s appearance. And, the village encountered an earthquake at the moment she was born.

There was a man who was passing by the village and witnessed the disaster. He helped and saved the villagers. He stayed there for some time and helped the villagers to rebuild their homes. At the same time, he noticed the little blue-haired and blue-eyed girl. He gave her a special jade rock with his name engraved on it and said “come to find me after 20 years”. The little girl looked at the man with her sparkling blue eyes and it seemed like she understood the man. She smiled in reply.

As soon as the man left, the villagers started to blame the girl for the disaster and said that she was bad luck. The little girl’s father denied it. He took good care of his daughter because she was a precious gift to him and named her “Mayala”. However, the villagers treated them badly. After 20 years, Mayala had grown up. She was kind-hearted and never hated the villagers although they treated her badly. She wore the jade around the neck all the time.

The Call to Adventure

Village Colonist was attacked by a nearby village. The villagers couldn’t do anything because their enemies were too strong. Mayala wanted to take revenge but she didn’t have the ability. She remembered there was a man with white clothes who gave her the jade and decided to find him.

She left the village and started the journey to find the man. After some time, she found the man. The man had a good reputation and was famous for his kindness. He ran a martial arts school. The man recognised the little girl and welcomed her to the school. She started to learn kung fu at the school. Mayala was a fast-learner and mastered it in a shorter period than a normal person.

Refusal of the call

So, Mayala decided to leave the school and go back to her village. Before she left the school, the man talked to Mayala. He said Mayala has the talent and invited her to join his team to move around the world and help the people in need. She refused the man because she learned the martial arts merely to prevent the attacks of the nearby village to Village Colonist. And, she wanted to return to the village to save them from suffering. The man revealed that he had left the jade to Mayala because he knew the innate power with her. However, Mayala refused her master.

The Crossing of The First Threshold

Mayala decided to go home. Along the way, she saw several villages were being attacked by a gang of bandits. She didn't want to get involved in the battle, initially. However, she saw the villagers were suffering and crying hopelessly. So, she decided to help and fight against the bandits. The villagers thanked and complimented her. Mayala felt that she had learned martial art to not just help her own village. But to help more people. So, Mayala decided to join her master’s team to move worldwide to help people in need.
